| During mixing, this viscous gel entrapped air and lumps of undispersed material. Processing through the VERSATOR removes the air bubbles as well as dispersing the material and giving the gel a smooth, polished appearance. |
There was so much entrapped air in this food product that it could not be packaged with the proper filling weight. The removal of the air by the VERSATOR yields the proper filling weight, a longer shelf life, and an improvement in the quality of the emulsion. |

| One of the original uses for the VERSATOR, grease is deaerated as well as dispersed and milled for the smooth "buttery" look required by its manufacturers. In addition, the exposure to the VERSATOR's high vacuum can flash off any traces of damaging moisture. |
Plastisols are prone to entrap air during manufacture and will become pitted after curing. The VERSATOR does not have a problem with the heat sensitive nature of plastisol and can discharge air-free material which is also well-mixed and dispersed. |
